Exciting News!

Details of the David Bailey concert below!

Born in Lebanon, David began to study classical guitar from an early age, before later moving to Germany, and finally America, where he entered the corporate world. He was diagnosed with a GBM IV in 1996, and was told there was little hope. He immediately began to fight what he calls "the beast" using treatment after treatment, and keeping his life in balance by remembering his faith, his family and friends, and his dreams of the future. He left his job, and turned back to his original love of song-writing and performing, sharing his message of hope and challenging us to live passionately and treasure the beauty of each day. Twelve years and 17 albums later, David is still here, writing and performing his songs all over the world. His music has been described as "some of the best adult male folk pop you will find within and beyond our little indie world," (cdbaby.com) and he has been labelled "a prophet with a guitar."

He is appearing in a series of concerts in the UK to celebrate the International Brain Tumour Awareness Week, beginning on Sunday the 26th October, and will perform in Edinburgh on Monday the 27th, in association with IBTA, the international Brain Tumour Alliance. To find out more about this week, and about IBTA, visit their website: theibta.org
